Embree to TWU

Audrey Embree has committed to TWU, according to a site submission. Embree is a L10 from GAGE in Missouri. At the 2007 L10 Nationals, she placed 17th AA in the Senior B division. She was also the Regional champion on the UB. She also tied for 48th AA at the 2006 L10 Nationals.
Fomon to Iowa

Heather Fomon has reportedly committed to Iowa, according to a site submission. Fomon is a L10 who trains at the Iowa Gym-Nest. Williamson to Ohio State

Casey Williamson has committed to Ohio State and will sign her NLI on 11/16, according to a site submission. Williamson is a L10 who trains at Gym-Extreme. Williamson tied for 19th AA at the 2007 L10 Nationals as a Senior B. She was also 14th AA at the 2006 Region V L10 Regionals.

Casey McCord has committed to San Jose State, according to a site submission. She trains as a L10 at WGA-Texans. In 2006, she placed 7th AA at the Texas L10 State Championships.

Alexandra Leggitt has committed to Cal as an invited walk-on, according to her family. Leggitt is training as a L10 at New Hope. She was 11th AA and 2nd on VT at the 2007 L9 Western Nationals. Link: New Hope Web Page

Brogden to CSUF

Taryn Brogden may have committed to Cal State Fullerton, according to a site submission. Brogden is a L10 who trains at SCEGA. In 2006, she tied for 21st AA, 6th on UB and 6th on FX at the L10 Nationals. She was also 3rd AA, 3rd(t) on FX and 1st on UB at the 2005 L10 Nationals.

Kmiecik to Ball State

Kayla Kmiecik has committed to Ball State, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer newspaper. She trains as a L10 at Great Lakes Gymnastics. In 2007, she qualified to the L10 Nationals in the Senior C group. She was also 41st(t) AA at the 2006 L10 Nationals. Link: Article

Janae Nichols has reportedly committed to Temple, according to a site submission. She's a L10 at JAG in southern California. She qualified to the 2007 Region I L10 Regionals, where she competed three events.

Yoculan to Retire After 2009 Season

Suzanne Yoculan of UGA will retire after the 2008-2009 season and will be replaced by Jay Clark. She has been the UGA Head Coach for 25 years and has left an indelible mark on the sport, capturing 8 NCAA titles. Link: UGA Announcement
