LSU Signs Gloria Johnson

LSU has signed Baton Rouge native Gloria Johnson. Johnson is a L10 who trains at Elite Gymnastics. In 2007, she captured the L10 National title on the BB, in the Senior B division. She also placed 6th AA and tied for 6th on VT. As a Junior D in 2006, she was 44th AA, including a tie for 6th on BB. Link: LSU Release

Lindsay Poplaski has signed with Towson, according to a site submission. Poplaski is a L10 who trains at Devlin Gymnastics in Wall Twp, NJ. She tied for 13th AA at the 2007 Region VII Regionals as a Senior A. She is also a 2-time high school state balance beam champion.

Melanie Brother a Level 10 gymnast at Docksiders Gymnastics in Millersville, Maryland has signed with Rutgers University according to a site submission. She placed 7th on bars at the 2007 Region VII Regionals.
Brittney Emmons to Ball State

Emmons, a level 10 gymnast at First City Gymnastics in Florida, has signed with Ball State according to a news article. She finished 15th in the '07 JO's Sr. C group, tying for 2nd on fx and 7th on vault. PNJ.com article

Mens: OU signs three

Patrick Piscitelli, Chad Crumley and Troy Nitzky have signed with the Sooners. Piscitelli trains at G&J Speedway in North Carolina. A Junior National Team member in 2004-2005, he was a two-time Regional AA champ. Crumley trains at Buffalo Grove in Illinois. A six-time JO National qualifier, he finished 19th AA at the JO Nationals. Nitzky trains at the Temple University Boys Gymnastics, where he qualified to the JO Nationals each of the last four years. Oregon State announces fall signings

Adonica Glatt, Leslie Mak and Stephanie McGregor have signed with OSU. Glatt is a L10 who trains at Multnomah Athletic Club Gymnastics (MAC). At the 2007 L10 Nationals, she placed 18th(t) AA. A four time qualifier, she also tied for 45th AA in 2006. Mak is a Senior High Performance (elite) gymnast from Canada. She formerly trained at Sports Seneca, but has sinced moved to Connecticut to train at Arena. She placed 11th AA at the 2007 Canadian Championships, including a 6th place finish on BB. She was 7th AA in 2006. McGregor is a National Open competitor who trains at Gymtastics in Alberta. She placed 4th AA, 1st on FX, and 2nd on UB at the 2007 Canadian Championships, in the Senior 16+ National Open division. She was also 4th in 2006, with a tie for 2nd on FX and a 6th on UB. Men's: Dabritz to Sign with Minnesota

Russell Dabritz will sign with Minnesota. He trains at the Yellow Jackets in Massachusetts. He placed 7th AA in the Junior 16-18 division of the 2007 VISA (US) Championships. He also picked a trio of 3rd place finishes on the PH, R and HB. He also placed 18th AA at the 2007 JO Nationals.
Men's: Cameratta to Sign with Minnesota

Ross Cameratta will sign with Minnesota. Cameratta trains at Gymnastics World in Ohio. He placed 13th AA and 6th on VT at the 2007 VISA (US) Championships in the Junior 16-18 division. He was also 15th AA in 2006.
Men's: Repp to Sign with Minnesota

DJ Repp will sign with Minnesota (M). He current trains with Gold Cup in New Mexico. At the 2007 VISA (US) Championships, he was 4th AA in the Junior 16-18 Division, including a 2nd on R and 5th on VT. He also placed 23rd at the 2007 JO Nationals. He was also 8th AA in 2006.
Tewell to William & Mary

Krauter to Ohio State

Nicole Krauter will sign with Ohio State, according to the Indianapolis Star newspaper. Krauter is a L10 at DeVeau's. At the 2005 L10 Nationals, she was 15th AA and tied for 5th on BB and 8th on FX. Kelley to Oklahoma

Although her official website has yet to report the news, Natasha Kelley has reportedly committed to Oklahoma, according to a note in International Gymnast. Similar board posts have reported this news for some time. Kelley is a US National Team member and World Championship finalist who placed 2nd at the American Cup in 2007. She was 10th AA at the 2007 VISA (US) Championships after placing 2nd in 2006. She was the champion in the junior division in 2005. Link: Her Official Website

Gaby Grey has committed to Southern Utah, according to a site submission. She's a L10 at Wildfire Gymnastics in Southern California. In 2007, she placed 10th AA and 5th on FX at the Region I L10 Regionals. She was also 16th AA in 2006, with a tied for 5th on FX.

Amanda Murphy has committed to George Washington University, according to a site submission. Murphy is a L10 who trains with the Texans at Woodlands Gymnastics Academy (WGA).
