TWU won the evening session of the USAG Women's Collegiate Nationals, advancing to the final with Air Force.   Fisk's Morgan Price was the top AAer with a 39.225.  She also tied for 1st on UB with SCSU's Gigi Mastellone and Air Force's Maggie Slife.  Talladega's Krystin Johnson was the top vaulter while Air Force's Kylee Greene posted the top mark on BB.  Cornell's Sydney Beers was the top placer on FX.

The Women's Development Program Level 10 Regionals are this weekend, with the top athletes in each Region competing for a spot at Nationals.  The Top 9 are highlighted below, as long as they scored over 35.0 (the minimum score to qualify to Nationals).  Only the Senior divisions plus Junior F 2025 grads (with commits) will be listed, and full results are linked by the name of the division in each Region.  The Top 7 will advance to Nationals with their Regional team.  Additional National qualifiers will be named, if Regions do not use their full 7 slots allotted.  These will be allocated to the top three Regions with the most competitors (in sequential order).  Additional athletes will qualify to the All-Star session, if they do not make the criteria above:  Two AAers from each age group in the Region and five individuals per event from all age groups in that Region.      

The Women's USA Gymnastics Collegiate National Championshipss are slated for April 12th to the 14th. The Championships are for programs from Division 1, 2 and 3 who offer less than 8 scholarships.  Lindenwood seeks to defend their title, in their final meet(s).  Challengers include Brown, Cornell, TWU, Air Force and host West Chester.  Here's the schedule and live links:

The NCAA has confirmed the fields for the NCAA Championships, in an announcement on Monday, April 8th.  

Cal hit for a 198.275 to win the Cal Regional.  Bay Area rival Stanford broke the bracket to advance, with a 197.575.  Denver was 3rd at 197.45 and ASU 4th at 196.75.  Cal's Mya Lauzon won the AA with a 39.75 and VT with a 10. She also tied for 1st on BB with DU's Bella Mabanta and Stanford's Chloe Widner. Widner won FX with a 10.  Widner also shared 1st on UB with Cal's Andi Li, Gabby Perea and Madelyn Willliams.

Florida posted a big 198.325 to win their Regional, while Utah overcame some problems on UB to hold off Mizzou for the 2nd spot to Nationals, 197.575 to 197.325.  MSU was back in 4th at 196.625 after counting a miss on BB.  Gators Ellie Lazzari and Anya Pilgrim tied for 1st in the AA; Lazzari tied for 1st on BB with Ute Maile O'Keefe and Mizzou's Sienna Schreiber.  Pilgrim shared 1st on FX with teammate Leanne Wong, Mizzou's Kennedy Griffin and Utes Abby Paulson and Jaylene Gilstrap. Utah's Grace McCallum won UB while MSU's Sage Kellerman was 1st on VT (9.975).

Men's: Stanford Wins MPSF Championship

Stanford posted a big 422.7 to defeat OU's 418.4 and win its third MPSF title in a row.  Cal was 3rd at 405.6 and Air Force 4th at 395.45.  Stanford was led by Khoi Young, who won the AA with an 86.35.  Young also won VT and PB.  Teammate Asher Hong won R.  For OU, Emre Dodanli won FX, Ignacio Yockers won PH and Kelton Christiansen won HB.

Men's: Navy Wins ECAC Championship

Navy won its six straight ECAC Championship, posting a 401.45 for the win.  Greenville was 2nd at 393, host Springfield 3rd at 392.05, Army 4th at 390.9, W&M 5th at 387.8 and Simpson 6th at 360.95.  Navy's Isaiah Drake won the AA with an 80.3.  Teammate Riley Rose won R and HB while Midshipman Matthew Petros won PB.  For Greenville, Zach Connelly won FX while teammate Logan Watterson won VT.  Springfield's Peyton Cramer claimed the PH title.

LSU shook off an early fall on UB, in the final round, to win the Arkansas Regional with a 198.25.  Arkansas posted a 197.825 to advance to Nationals, defeating Kentucky's 197.475 and Minnesota's 197.4.  LSU's Haleigh Bryant won the AA with a 39.85, winning both VT and UB with 10s. On BB, LSU's Konnor McClain and Ark's Kalyxta Gamiao tied for 1stOn FX, LSU's Aleah Finnegan, Minn's Mya Hooten and UK's Raena Worley tied for the top mark.

With LSU and Arkansas advancing, it appears the individual qualifiers are now sorted (pending confirmation).  Previously, Jade Carey of Oregon State qualified in the AA and Courtney Blackson of Boise State qualified on BB.  With the Tigers and GymBacks punching their tickets to Nationals, pending confirmation, Mya Hooten of Minnesota will qualify on VT,  UK's Isabella Magnelli on BB and UK's Raena Worley on FX.

OU and Bama punched their tickets to Nationals this afternoon in Ann Arbor.  OU breezed by with a 198.4, while Alabama held off  Ohio State (197.2) and PSU (197.05) with a 197.575.  OU's Jordan Bowers won the AA (39.725) and tied for 1st on FX with Ohio St's Ella Hodges (9.975). Teammate Audrey Davis won UB.  OU's Katherine LaVasseur and Ragan Smith tied for the BB title. On VT, Ava Piedrahita of PSU and OU's Hannah Scheible tied for first.

Based on OU and Bama advancing, the following individuals also advance to Nationals:  Gabby Wilson of Michigan in the AA; Sierra Brooks of Michigan on the VT and FX;  Carly Bauman of Michigan on the UB; and PSU's Amani Herring on the BB.

Cal posted a 197.8 to hold off Stanford's 197.6 to win the evening session at the Cal Regional.  Stanford will join them in Sunday's final.  Auburn was 3rd at 196.8 and SUU 4th at 196.475.  Cal's Mya Lauzon tied for the top mark on VT with Stanford's Anapaula Gutierrez and SUU's Ellie Cacciola. Cal's Andi Li and Chloe Widner tied for the top spot on UB.  Widner tied for the top spot on BB with Lauzon, and on FZ with Cal's eMjae Frazier and Stanfod's Anna Roberts. Widner won the AA with a 39.7, the highest mark in both sessions.

Men's: Michigan Takes Big Ten Title

Michigan won the Big Ten Men's Gymnastics title, posting a big 418.10.  Illinois was 2nd at 413.75, Nebraska 3rd at 407.35, Ohio State 4th at 406.55 and PSU 5th at 404.05.  Fred Richard of Michigan claimed the AA title with an 83.9.  The event finals are on Saturday.  Teammate Paul Juda of Michigan placed FX and VT.  Teammates Crew Bold and Evgeny Siminiuc tied for top mark on HB.  For Illinois, Ashton Anaya placed 1st on R and teammate Will Hauke tied for first on PH with NU's Cooper Giles.  PSU Josh Karnes posted a big 15.1 on PB for the top position.

UGA 3rd at 197.425, Iowa St 196.575. UF's Victoria Nguyen posted the top mark on VT in S2 (tied with Emma Silberman of UMD from S2).  Gator Anya Pilgrim and UGA's Lily Smith tied for the top mark on UB. Smith tied for the top spot in the AA at 39.675 with MSU's Nikki Smith from Session 1. (Lily Smith appears to win the tiebreaker, if required).
