Claire Torgerson, L10 at Byers in California, has signed with Sacramento State. Highlights of her 2010 season include a win (1st AA; 1st v/bb) at the Winter Invitational and several other individual event wins throughout the season. She finished 6th AA at regionals and 24th AA at National JOs.

Drew Moling has signed with Ohio State, according to his local newspaper. Moling trains at Hocking Valley Gymnastics. He finished 10th AA and 4th(t) on PH at the 2010 VISA Champonships (Jr. Men 16-18).

Lauren Capone, a L10 at Spirit Gymnastics, has committed to compete for Temple next season, according to her family. She qualified to the 2010 Region VII L10 Regionals in the Senior A division. As a L9 in 2009, she was 12th AA, 3rd on VT and 3rd on FX at the Region VII L9 Regionals.

As expected, NU has announced the signing of Jessie DeZiel, Kailyn Hawkins, Amanda and Jennifer Lauer, and Desire Stephens.

Ohio State has hired former Buckeye Dick Huntwork as an assistant to the Men's program. He currently coaches at the Hocking Valley Sports Center. He will supplement the interim Head Coaches following the departure of Miles Avery, which was announced last week.

Joshua Wilson has signed with Illinois for 2011-2012, according to a school release. He is a three time US National Team member and finished 1st at JO Nationals in 2006. Now at Elite Champion gymnastics, he tied for 41st AA in the preliminaries at the 2010 JO Nationals.

Utah State has announced the signing of Breyanna Aufiero, Sarah Landes, and Kristen Meyers. The commits of Aufiero and Landes were covered in prior news items. In the release, USU Head Coach Jeff Richards noted, "I am very excited about our 2011 class. This class will have an instant impact on the team and will compliment the 2010 freshmen class very well. They have strong academics, strong gymnastics and a strong work ethic".
Meyers is a L10 at EDGE in Missouri. At the 2010 L10 Nationals, she placed 43rd AA in the Senior B division.

SUU has announced the signing of four recruits to Letters of Intent. The commits of Jamie Armijo, Rochelle Bernier, Ana Jaworski, and Stacey Sorensen were covered in prior news items.

Arizona has announced the signing of Allison Flores and Amber Wobma to NLIs. The commits of both were covered in prior news items. Said Head Coach Bill Ryden in a release, "Both girls are quality all-arounders and we expect them to make an impact on all four events."

NC State has announced the signing of Lane Jarred, Megan Kurdelmeir and Naomi DeVries. The commits of all three were covered in prior news items. Says Head Coach Mark Stevenson, "All three are very skilled athletically and academically. They'll play a huge role in moving the program forward."

Spencer Jones, Kayla Jones, and Stephanie Repp will join the Pioneers in the fall of 2011. All three commitments were previously reported.
Morgan Cook, L10 from Hot Springs Arkansas, signed to compete for the University of Alaska Anchorage next year. Cook was one of three gymnasts who tried out for the team's last available scholarship and she put on a demonstration for the UAA coaches that earned her the spot. She placed 15th AA at her regionals meet last year.
