The Panthers won the Pink Meet hosted by GWU.  Pitt's Michaela Burton won BB while teammate Haley Brechwald tied on VT with WVU's Abby Kaufman. Pitt's Ciara Ward tied with GWU's Cydney Crasa and WVU's Abbie Pierson on FX.  WVU's Esperanza Abarca won the UB.

Florida 197.8 at Kentucky 196.6

UF's Trinity Thomas won UB, BB, FX, and the AA with a 39.725 to lead the Gators to the big win at Kentucky.  Teammate Payton Richards won the VT.

Temple's Ariana Castrence won the AA (39.05), UB and tied for the VT title with teammate Faith Leary and UB's Julianna Roland. Owl Delaney Garin won BB while UB's Maya Reimers won FX.

Arkansas 196.05 at Missouri 195.075

Arkansas' Kennedy Hambrick won the AA with a 39.275 and tied for 1st on FX with Mizzou's Morgan Porter.  Gymback Sophia Carter won BB.  Porter also won UB and tied for 1st on VT with teammate Gabrielle Gottula

Michigan edged host Nebraska on Thursday night.  Michigan was paced by wins from Sierra Brooks in the AA and Abby Brenner on VT. For the Huskers, Taylor Houchin won BB, Kathryn Thaler won BB and Sierra Hassel won FX.

UW Oshkosh 188.55 at Winona State 184.25

UW Oshkosh defeated host Hamlne 188.55 to 184.25 on Thursday night.  Emily Gilot won BB and tied for the UB title with teammate Baylee Tkaczuk.  Teammate Olivia Keller won BB while Oshkosh's Trinity Sawyer won FX.

Oregon State's Tanya Chaplin Taking a Leave of Absence

Oregon State has announced that Tanya Chaplin will be taking an indefinite leave of absence, due to a health-related issue.  Her husband Mike will take over Head Coach duties.  We wish her well in her recovery.

UCLA 197.575 at Stanford 196.25

The Bruins swept Stanford, led by Kyla Ross.  Kyla Ross won the AA, UB, FX (9.975) and tied for the VT title with teammate Nia Dennis. UCLA's Grace Glenn won the BB with her own 9.975.

MacKenzy Walvatne from Pearland Elite has committed to UW-Oshkosh.  She qualified to regionals in 2018, but hasn't competed since.

Faith Lerro from American Twisters has committed to Pitt.   She concluded her 2019 season at her state meet, finishing 1st on bars and 11th AA.

Kieran Ross from Flip USA Gymnastics has committed to Alaska.  She finished 10th AA at regionals last season.

2021-22 Kaylee Cooper to Lindenwood

Kaylee Cooper from Aspire Gymnastics has committed to Lindenwood.  Her 2020 season is off to a strong start with a 2nd place showing at the California Grand and a 4th place showing at the Bravo Classic.

OU holds onto the lead in the Women's National Rankings for the Week of January 27th, as compiled by RoadToNationals.  Florida is second and UCLA is 3rd, just ahead of Utah.  DU fell to fifth this week.

Cal 197.075 at Washington 197.225

Washington's Evanni Roberson won BB and the AA with a 39.55 to lead the Huskies. Teammate Kristyn Hoffa posted a 9.975 to win FX and boost the Huskies to a win on the last rotation.  Husky Madison Copiak tied with Cal's Maya Bordas, Nina Schank and Emi Watterson on UB.  Cal's Kyana George won the VT.

Iowa 402.95 at Nebraska 409.85

11 gymnasts posted career highs as the Huskers recorded a big tally on Sunday to defeat Iowa.  Jake Bonnay won FX, Charlie Giles won PH, Mitchell Mandozzi won VT, and Mitch Tyndall won PB for the Huskers.  For Iowa, Brandon Wong won R and Dillan King won the HB.
