Michigan posted a 412.89 to win the second qualifying session at the Men's NCAA Nationals. Ohio St was 2nd at 407.956 while the OU Sooners took the third and final qualifying spot at 407.29. Navy was 4th at 399.023, Air Force 5th at 384.822 and Army 6th at 376.691.
Garrett Braunton of Air Force was the top AAer, followed by Navy's Isaiah Drake and Army's Matthew Davis. The trio will advance to the Final as well. (Note: AAers from the qualifying teams will also compete; they often rest the first day).

Stanford posted a season-high 426.325 to win the afternoon session during qualifying at the Men's NCAAs. Nebraska was 2nd at 411.388 and Illinois was 3rd at 406.691. Cardinal senior Curran Phillips posted the top score on PB and HB to lead his squad. PSU (397.889), Cal (394.824) and Springfield (380.523) completed the field.
PSU's Michael Jaroh, Cal's Noah Newfield and Springfield's Dominic Ramalho advanced to the final as AA individuals (not on a qualifying team).

OU's Emma LaPinta repeated as the Elite 90 Winner at the Women's Gymnastics Championships. It is an award given to the athlete with at least two years of schooling who holds the highest GPA. LaPinta has a 4.0 with a major in Communications.

Stanford senior Brody Malone was named the 2022 Nissen-Emery Award winner, the award given to the most outstanding senior in Men's gymnastics. The two-time NCAA Champ, US Champion, World Medalist and Olympian looks to lead his squad to their third straight title.
Teammate Curran Phillips was named Specialist of the Year while OU's Fuzzy Benas was named Newcomer of the Year. W&M's Alek Kuzmenchuk won the Elite 90 Award for the highest GPA (3.98) at the NCAA Championships.

Posting a 10 on her final event, FX, Trinity Thomas secured the NCAA title with a 39.8125. She also won the UB with a 9.975. She was followed by AU's Sunisa Lee in 2nd at 39.675, with fellow Gator not far behind at 39.6625 in third.
Lee posted a 9.9625 to win the BB. Competing in the first session, Utah's Jaedyn Rucker won the NCAA title on VT.
Florida overcame Auburn with a 49.75 in their final rotation to slip past the Tigers and win the evening session at the NCAAs. Auburn went lights out from their first event, BB, posting a 49.475 en route to a huge 197.8375. Florida suffered some landing errors on their first event and then the squad suffered a long delay on UB while a mechanical failure was addressed. Missouri overcame a slow start on UB to finish strongly with a 197.2. Defending Champion Michigan struggled, counting misses on UB and BB, to finish fourth at 196.2875, their lowest mark of the season.

OU posted a big 198.1125 to win the first Semifinal at the Women's NCAA Championships. The Sooners posted over 49.5 on three events, including a 49.675 on FX. Utah posted a 197.7125 to outdistance Minnesota (197.1125) and Alabama (197.1). The Utes used a big 49.6 to close on BB.
Oregon State's Jade Carey posted a 39.65 to top the AAers in the Semifinal.
Ute Jaedyn Rucker posted the top mark on VT at 9.9625. Sooner Jordan Bowers matched that tally to lead on FX. On UB, OU's Audrey Davis tied for the top mark at 9.95 with Carey and Minnesota's Lexy Ramler. On BB, Ramler tied for the top mark at 9.9375 with Bama's Luisa Blanco and a trio of Utes: Abby Paulson, Kara Eaker and Maile O'Keefe.

In an announcement yesterday, Natalie Wojcik was named the 2022 AAI Award winner.
TWU won the USA Gymnastics Collegiate Nationals on Saturday, posting a 196.025 to defeat Air Force's 195.65. This was TWU's 12 National Title. Lindenwood was 3rd at 194.6 and Brown 4th at 193.3.
On Sunday, SEMO's Anna Kaziska won BB and tied for the FX title with TWU's Isabel Goyco. On VT, Yale's Raegan Walker took the title. A pair of SEMO athletes tied for the top spot on UB: Jolie Miller and Lindsey Ockler.

Brown and TWU advanced from Session 2 of the USA Gymnastics Collegiate Nationals. Yale was third 194.025 and host Cornell 4th at 192.05. Cornell's Sydney Beers posted the higher AA of the day with a 39.125. The team finals are Saturday and the Event Finals are Sunday.
Air Force posted a 194.55 to win the afternoon session at the USA Gymnastics Collegiate Nationals (W). Lindenwood posted a 193.8 to hold off SEMO's program record on BB and take the 2nd slot in Saturday's finals. West Chester was not far behind with a 193.425 to finish 4th. Air Force frosh Genevieve Sabado posted a 38.95 in the AA to lead the field in Session 1.

The NCAA has confirmed the full list of Individual AA and Event Qualifiers to the 2022 Nationals.
Stanford posted an NCAA high 424.25 to defeat host OU's 417.3 and win the MPSF Championship. Cal was third at 392.4 and Air Force 4th at 388.05. Stanford's two-time NCAA Champ Brody Malone won the AA with an 85.95. He also won the HB with a big 15.15. Teammates Ian Gunther (R) and Colt Walker (PB) led Cardinal sweeps of those events. Cardinal Bryan Perla won FX while teammate Khoi Young won PH. In his collegiate debut, Taylor Burkhart won the VT.

Michigan picked up three event title at the Big Ten Conference Championships, with Jacob Moore earning his second title, Evgeny Siminiuc winning PB and AA Champ and Big Ten Gymnast of the Championships Paul Juda taking the HB. Chase Clingman of PSU won the PH, Ashton Anaya of Illinois won the Rings and Ohio State's Kameron Nelson won the VT.
