Kentucky powered to the home win over a young Arkansas squad. Kentucky was led by Audrey Harrison, who won the AA with a 39.275, the floor, and the bars with a 9.9. Teammate Holly Cunningham tied for the vault title with Arkansas frosh Heather Elswick. UK's Shannon Mitchell and Marissa Beucler tied with Arkansas frosh Sydnie Dillard for the beam title.

Ball State defeated visiting CMU, led by wins by Danaisha Christian on vault and Brittney Emmons on floor. For CMU, Kylie Fagan won bars and Taylor Noonan won beam.

Lindenwood marked its first home meet with a season-high score, but SEMO prevailed with a 192.2. SEMO was led by Megan Fosnow and Taryn Vanderpool, who tied for the vault title. Fosnow also tied for the vault title while Vanderpool won the bars. Teammate Taylor Westrick won the beam. For Lindenwood, Rachel Zabawa won the floor.

AU's season high was not enough to upset UGA at home. For UGA, Lindsey Cheek won vault while teammate Chelsea Davis won bars. Gym Dog Sarah Persinger tied with AU's Bri Guy for the FX title. AU's Megan Walker won the beam, while frosh teammate Caitlin Atkinson won the AA with a 39.25.

Florida's Mackenzie Caquatto scored the first 10.0 of the season as the Gators defeated Mizzou in SEC action. Teammate Ashanee Dickerson added a 9.975 win on vault, en route to posting a 39.575 AA win. She also won FX with a 9.9. Frosh teammate Bridget Sloan added a 9.9 win on BB.

UCLA tops the women's rankings in the very first week of the rankings from Troester.com GymInfo, followed by Michigan. Kytra Hunter of UF is the top AAer, and is one of five gymnast tied for the top average on bars (WMU's Caroline O'Brien, UCLA's Lichelle Wong, AU's Petrina Yokay, and Bama's Sarah Demeo). Maryland's Katy Dodds holds the top vault score and NU's Jennifer Lauer holds the top beam score. UCLA's Vanessa Zamarripa holds the top floor score. Rankings this week are based on single meet or average scores and are likely to shift quite a bit.

UCLA blasted to the first 197 score of the season, defeating the Utes, who struggled on UB. Bruin Vanessa Zamarripa was outstanding, posting a 39.675 AA win. She also won bars and tied with teammates Danusia Francis and Olivia Courtney for the Beam and FX titles, respectively. Courtney tied with Ute Tory Wilson for the Vault title.

Campbell also tied for the bars title with frosh teammate Lindsay Mable. Gopher frosh Hannah Nordquist won the beam. UW's Aliza Vaccher won the AA with a 38.85.
