UCLA won the 2018 NCAA title in a dramatic come from behind victory of OU, 198.075 to 198.0375.  UCLA's Peng-Peng Lee anchored BB with her second 10.0 of the night, following Kyla Ross' 9.9875.  Lee also posted a 10.0 on UB as UCLA came from behind to overtake OU in the last two rounds with team scores of 49.6375 on UB and an incredible 49.75 in the last round on BB.  Those two huge team totals overcame a deficit created when they posted just a 49.225 on VT, seemingly falling off the pace of the OU, UF and LSU.

Florida eventually posted a 197.85 for third, edging LSU's 197.8375.  Utah was fifth at 196.9 with NU just behind in 6th at 196.8.

The last round saw LSU on VT, OU on UB, UCLA on BB and UF on FX.  LSU had a number of big sticks late on VT but also suffered some medium to large steps on some Yurchenko 1 1/2 (Kennedi Edney, Ruby Harrold).  UF's total of 49.5625 was enough to overtake LSU but was well short of what they needed to keep pace with the top two.  UCLA suffered an early fall from Madison Kocian but closed super strong with Katelyn Ohashi (9.95), Ross and Lee.  OU had an early sizable hop and a bend-correction on UB dismounts, which led to an otherwise solid team total of 49.5375.

OU's Maggie Nichols postd the top FX score while NU's Sienna Crouse posted the top mark on VT.
