Schedule Difficulty for the Top 10 for 2004

Schedule difficulty index is calculated by awarding 10 points for scheduling the number one team in the pre-season coaches poll, 9 points for the number two team, down to 1 point for the tenth ranked team.  No points are awarded for scheduling teams ranked below 10 in the coaches poll, and no difficulty index is calculated for teams ranked below 10 in the coaches poll.

Florida attained 34 of its 50.5 points for scheduling Georgia (2) and Alabama (3) twice each during the season and 10 points for scheduling UCLA once.
