Mariah York, L10 from Gold Medal Gymnastics in Arizona, has committed to Sacramento State. This season she placed 1st on bars and 2nd AA at the Arizona Grand. She also placed 1st on bars and 2nd AA at the Winterfest Invitational. Last weekend she competed to a 4th place AA finish at the Classic Rock Invitational.
Arizona used a balanced and consistent effort to easily defeat cross-state rival ASU. Krysten Howard won the UB and Maddy Cindric won the BB to lead the Gymcats. For ASU, Taylor Allex won the VT and FX. Teammate Allie Salas led a quartet of ASU AAers with a 39.1.

Host UIC defeated Lindenwood, surging back on the FX to overtake the Lions. Mikailla Northern led UIC, tying for the BB title with teammate Sabrina Tomassini and taking the AA with a 38.825. Teammate Nicole Szabo won the UB. For Lindenwood, Kayla McMullan won the VT and FX.

PSU Head Coach Jeff Thompson scored his 150th career win as PSU defeated host Maryland. Kiera Brown led the Nittany Lions, winning VT, UB and the AA (39.35). Teammate Nicole Medvitz won BB while PSU's Briannah Tsang won FX.

Olympic Gold Medalist Kyla Ross has decided to retire from Elite competition and not pursue a shot at the Rio team. She will start at UCLA this summer and intends to compete for the Bruins.

Saqiqua Bynum of UCLA won VT and tied for the FX title with teammate Angi Cipra as UCLA defeated host Washington. Teammates Sophina DeJesus and Danusia Francis won UB and BB, respectively. Washington's Joslyn Goings won the AA with a 39.375.

Former Michigan NCAA Champ Sam Mikulak rebounded on Day 2 to win the Men's Winter Cup. NCAA AA champ Akash Modi of Stanford was 2nd, and Ohio State's Sean Melton was third. OU's Yul Moldauer was fifth.
Molly Frack, L10 at Parkettes, has committed to LSU. Molly competed at the junior elite level through the 2014 season. She recently competed at the Gliders Invitational, finishing 1st AA and 1st on bars, beam and floor.
NC State scored a 195.45 to nip Nebraska and win the quad meet at Iowa State. The Wolfpack was led by Brittni Watkins, who won the FX. The Huskers, who competed only five on FX and VT, were led by Hollie Blanske, who won VT, UB and the AA (39.475). Iowa State's Haylee Young won the BB.

Frosh Katie Stuart won the VT and tied for the BB title (with WVU's Melissa Idell) to lead the Wildcats to the win. Classmate Sidney Dukes won the AA with a 39.35. For WVU, Alexa Goldberg won the UB and Kirah Koshinski took the FX.
