Lauren Hernandez, and elite from MG Elite in N.J., has committed to Florida.  In 2013 she placed 1st AA at the Secret Classic and 2nd AA at the P&G Championships.

Alaska Signs Pair

Alaska-Anchorage has signed Morgan Colee and Erica Man to NLIs for 2015-2016.  Both train as L10s at LaFleur's in Florida. 

Colee placed 12th AA and tied for 2nd on VT at the 2014 JO NIT meet.  She placed 8th AA at Regionals, justing missing a spot at JO Nationals.  In 2013, she finished 21st AA at Regionals.  Link:  Videos

Man also competed at the 2014 JO NIT meet after placing 11th AA at Regionals.  She also qualified to the L10 Regionals in 2012 and 2013.  Link:  Videos

2017-18 Mitchell to MSU

Lea Mitchell, L10 at American Twisters in Florida, has committed to Michigan State.  She finished 3rd AA and her 2014 state meet, 2nd at regionals and 33rd at JOs.

Michigan Adds Christopherson for 2015 Season

Michigan has added Nichelle Christopherson for the 2014-2015 season.  Christopherson is a former junior international elite who trains as a L10 at Fuzion in Missouri.  She qualified to the 2014 Level 10 Nationals after placing 4th AA and 1st on BB at the Region IV L10 Regionals.

Former Winona State Gymnast Baures Mourned

Winona State is mourning the passing of former team member Brooke Baures, who passed away December 1st during an incident at her place of work.  A candelight vigil will be held on December 3rd. 

According to published reports, Baures chose to leave the team this year to focus on an internship in Social Work.  She made the NCGA Nationals the past three seasons and received All-American honors on beam in 2013.
