Missouri Signs Two for 2012-2013

Missouri announced the signing of Blair Elmore and Miranda Eubank, as expected.  The school had previously announced that Kelsy Landreth would graduate early and join the team this season.

Raisman Turns Pro

Aly Raisman, who originally committed to Florida, has signed with Octagon Olympics & Action Sports, forfeiting her NCAA eligibility, the agency confirmed today.  Octagon represents athletes ranging from Michael Phelps to Apolo Anton Ono.  As other members of the Class of 2012 and 2013 ponder the same question, stay tuned for some shakeups in the recruiting scene.

Ohio State Signs Three

As expected Ohio State has signed Rachel Abrams, Maggie Dunn and Audrey Tolbert.  Missing from the release is confirmed commit Ariel Martin of IGI, a former JO National Team member and 2011 Region V AA champion.

2013-14 Mossett to UCLA

Hallie Mossett has committed to UCLA according to Gym-Style.com, which maintains her website.  Mossett is a National Team Member who competes for West Coast Elite.  This past season, she won FX at the American Classic, finished 9th AA at the Covergirl Classic and 13th AA at Nationals.

Men's: Chamberlain to Nebraska

Samuel "Sammy" Chamberlain will sign with NU for 2012-2013, according to the Dayton Daily News.  He finished 32nd AA at the 2010 JO Nationals.

Men's: DiBenedetto Signs with Minnesota

Dan DiBenedetto, who train's at Tim Daggett's, has signed with Minnesota for 2012-2013, according to the The Republican newspaper.  At the 2011 VISA Championships, he placed 5th AA in the Junior Men's 14-15 division.  He also was 2nd on HB and 3rd on SR.

Men's: Stanford Signs Five

Stanford has announced the signing of five gymnasts for it's 2012-2013 Men's squad:  Kevin Baker, Brandon Beckhardt, Jonathan Deaton, David Frankl and Dennis Zaremski.

Baker trains at Queen City but hails from Kentucky.  His commit was previously reported as Illinois, but he has signed with Stanford.  At the 2011 VISA Championships, he placed 5th on VT and 7th(t) on FX.  Link:  HB on YouTube.com

Beckhardt trains at Hotshots.  He placed 28th AA at the 2011 Junior Olympic Nationals, Sr. 16-18.  He was also 28th in 2010.  Link:  YouTube.com Channel 

Deaton competes for Tim Daggett's.  He placed 2nd AA at the 2011 VISA Championships in the Junior Men's 16-189 division.  He was also 6th AA at the 2011 Junior Olympic Nationals.  Link:  YouTube.com
