MSU has signed Baleigh Garcia, Naomi German, and Delanie Harkness and Gianna Kalefe. Their commitments were covered here in previous posts. Additionally, Sydney Hayashi from Buckeye Gymnastics will join this group. She qualiied to regionals last season and finished 1st on beam.
Florida's Jenny Rowland has been named the National Coach of the Year by the WCGA. OU's Lou Ball and Tom Haley were named Assistant Coaches of the Year.

Long Island University has added a gymnastics program and it has named Randy Lane to the head coach position.
Emily Buffington from Everest Gymnastics will head to UW-Oshkosh this fall. She qualified to JOs in 2019.

Sara Wabi from from Aspire Gymnastics has committed to Illinois State. She qualified to regionals in 2018 and 2019.
The NCAA is considering legislation that would reduce the number of sports schools need to sponsor to qualify for Division I status. This would enable schools to further cut collegiate sports, in particular non-revenue Olympic sports. The Intercollegiate Coach Association Coalition has started a petition. Please consider signing it today.
According to the coalition: "If the NCAA grants a waiver allowing for a reduction of the number of sports sponsorships for Division 1 qualification it would be a devastating, permanent blow to college athletes and forever alter the fabric of university life."

Missouri has added Sydney Schaffer for 2020-2021. A L10 at JAG Gymnastics, she was the Kansas L10 state champ in 2018 and 2019. She placed 10th AA at the 2019 Region III L10 Regionals.

OU's Maggie Nichols was named the winner of the AAI Award. She's the first Sooner to win the award, which is given to the most outstanding senior gymnast (W). The other finalists were LSU's Kennedi Edney, NU's Taylor Houchin, DU's Maddie Karr, UK's Mollie Korth and UCLA's Kyla Ross.

Savannah Gonzales from Aftershock Gymnastics has signed with Ohio State. She qualified to regionals in 2019.
