Lauren Diggan, L10 at Stallone Gymnastics, has changed her commitment to New Hampshire, where she will compete 17-18 season. We previously announced her commitment to Ohio State.
The artistic gymnastics portion of the Rio Olympics concluded with two more days of event finals. Simone Biles won her fourth gold medal with a big win on FX. Teammate Aly Raisman won silver. On the BB, Biles had her first break and took the Bronze. Teammate Laurie Hernandez took the Silver. Danell Leyva, originally an alternate to the US squad, won silvers on PB and HB. Ex Michigan star Sam Mikulak placed 4th on HB.

Colbi Flory, Jr. Elite from Texas Dreams, has committed to UCLA. This season she finished 25th AA at the Secret Classic and 8th AA at the P&G Championships.
Jordan Williams, L10 at Metroplex, has committed to SEMO according to Gym-style.com. She finished 1st on vault and 3rd AA at her 2016 state meet. She placed 6th AA at regionals and 42nd AA at JOs.
Brooklynn Bloxom, L10 at WOGA, has committed to BGSU according to Gym-Style.com. She finished 2nd AA at her 2016 state meet and she won regionals. She placed 14th AA at JOs.
Morgan Hooper, L10 from Nebraska School of Gymnastics, has committed to Northern Illinois. She won her 2016 state meet and placed 1st on bars and floor. She placed 26th AA at regionals.
The first day of event finals at the Olympics saw medals awarded on the Women's VT and UB, and Men's FX and PH. Several gymnasts with NCAA ties were in action.
Simone Biles cemented her spot in history with a dominating win in the AA at the 2016 Olympics. Teammate Aly Raisman won the silver, well ahead of third place Aliya Mustafina of Russia.
Abbie Nylin, L10 at Twin City Twisters, has committed to UMinn. She picked up various individual titles over the course of her 2016 season and she won the Fiesta Bowl meet. She placed 1st on beam and 3rd AA at her state meet.
