Cameron Rogers won the men's 16-18 year old division at the VISA (US) Championships yesterday. He also captured titles on R and PB. Jesse Silverstein was 2nd. PSU incoming Parker Raque won the FX and future teammate Mackenzie Dow tied for the VT title with Zachery Chase. Dylan Akers won PH and Jordan Valdez won HB. Anna Shumaker has committed to UC Davis for 2010-2011, according to a site submission. The L10 trains at Pacific West Gymnastics. At the 2009 L10 Nationals, she placed 14th AA in the Senior B division. As a L9 in 2008, she placed 1st AA, 1st on VT, 1st on UB, 1st on FX and 2nd on BB at the Level 9 Western Nationals, Sr. B. Aliza Vaccher has committed to Washington, according to her club's booster web page. Vaccher, a L10 at the Desert Devils, placed 14th(t) AA and 10th(t) on FX at the 2009 L10 Nationals, Senior A. She was also 28th AA and 6th(t) on BB at the 2008 L10 Nationals, Jr. D.  Club Link.

SEMO tops the list of teams in the 2009 Scholastic All America rankings, according to a release from the National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches, Women.  They repeat at winners of the National Academic Team Championships, with a remarkable 14 athletes achieving perfect 4.0 grade point averages.
