OU broke the 198 barrier in their season debut, posting an impressive 198.05 on the road to defeat Arkansas (195.575). OU's Maggie Nichols had a spectacular first meeting, posting a 10.0 on VT for her Yurchenko 1 1/2 and a 9.975 on BB. She won both events and the AA with a 39.75, the weekend's top score thus far. Teammate Nicole Lehrmann won UB while OU frosh Olivia Trautman tied for the FX title with Arkansas' Sophia Carter.

UGA posted a strong 196.6 to defeat Ohio State's 194.9. UGA's Sydney Snead won the AA with 39.4 and took the VT. Teammate Rachel Dickson won the UB and FX, hitting her double Arabian mount. Sabrina Vega's win on BB completed a UGA sweep of the event titles.

NC State scored the road win, 193.75 to 191.7, over host Michigan State. NC State's Caitlyn Fillard won the BB and the AA with a 38.975 to lead the Wolfpack. Frosh teammate Meredith Robinson won the UB. For MSU, frosh Ashley Hofelich won the VT while classmate Alaina Raybon won FX.

Alabama has announced that Bailie Key will miss this season for medical reasons.
Illinois State won the first of two meets with Alaska. Illinois State's Gabrielle Cook won VT, FX and the AA (39.025). Teammates Meredith LaRoche and Kylie Meyer won UB and BB, respectively.

UCLA posted a big 197.25 to defeat NU's 195.7. UCLA's Kyla Ross won the AA (39.65) to lead the Bruins. She stuck her new Yurchenko 1 1/2 on VT to earn a 9.975, which seemed to energize the Bruins after a slow start. She also tied for the FX title with teammates Gracie Kramer and Katelyn Ohashi. Ohashi won BB, tumbling a bhs-bhs-two foot layout series and a new dismount combo of front aerial-bhs-layout to layout full off the end. NU's Taylor Houchin won the UB, as they employed a trio of AAers and a wide variety of lineup newcomers.

Bama posted a 194.75 to hold off NIU, Temple and SEMO in a home quad meet. Bama was led by their underclassmen. Sophomore Lexi Graber won the BB, FX and the AA with a 39.125. Bama frosh Shallon Olsen won VT while classmate Emily Gaskins won UB. Bama started off the meet well but ran into troubles on BB.

Auburn posted a 194.825 to hold off Iowa's 193.225. AU's Drew Watson won the AA (38.95) and the VT. Teammate Meredith Sylvia won BB, debuting a new skill, while Tiger frosh Derrian Gobourne tied with teammate Gracie Day for the UB title. AU's Sam Cerio tied with Iowa's Lauren Guerin on FX.
The Tigers were on a strong pace through three events but after Skyler Sheppard was unable to complete her routine after a hard fall, the Tigers were forced to count Gracie Day's 8.45.

Michigan won the Cancun Classic, paced by a standout debut from frosh Natalie Wojcik. The new Wolverine won the AA with a 39.625, including a 9.975 win on VT, an UB win with a 9.9 and a 9.925 win on BB as the anchor. Teammate Emma McLean won the FX.

Missouri won the quad meet at ASU, paced Britney Ward's 9.95 win on BB. Tiger Aspen Tucker tied for the FX tile with ASU's Cairo Leonard-Baker. Minnesota's Lexy Ramler won the AA with a big 39.525. She also won VT and tied for the UB title with ASU's Leonard-Baker.

LSU came from two early falls on VT to over take Cal and post a 196.775. LSU's Sarah Finnegan won the AA with a 39.675. She also won BB and FX with matching 9.95s. Teammate Lexie Priessman won VT while Tiger Ruby Harrold won UB.

Jenna DeVincenzo, a L10 from All-Stars, has committed to UNH for 2020-201. In 2018, she tied for 45th AA at the 2018 Level 10 Junior Olympic Nationals. She was also 8th on VT and 16th(t) AA at the 2017 JO Nationals.

Mia Takekawa, a L10 from Byers, has committed to Illinois for 2019-2020. She tied for 6th on BB, 9th on FX and 11th AA at the 2018 Level 10 Junior Olympic Nationals. She was also 2nd(t) on UB, 6th on BB and 7th AA in 2017. In 2016, she tied for the JO National BB title.

Arianna Mamelka has committed to WMU. She competes for Hunt's Gymnastics. Last season she qualified to regionals and finished 18th AA.
