NIU 193.675 at WMU 194.825

Host WMU took advantage of NIU's troubles on beam and powered to a win.  WMU's Lauren Bledsoe won vault and floor to lead her squad.  Teammates Caroline O'Brien and Kayla Weber won bars and the AA, respectively.  For NIU, Megan Melendez won another beam title.

Brown's Michelle Shnayder won the floor and teammate Julia Meyer won beam to lead their squad to a quad meet win.  For Cornell, Melanie Jorgensen won the bars.  SCSU's Rebecca Brady won the vault while teammate Megan Cole won the AA.

2013-14 Suarez to Penn

Maiko Suarez, L10 from Brown's-Las Vegas, has committed to Penn according to her local newspaper.  Maiko, in her first year at level 10, won the Lady Luck Invite and finished 1st on vault.  She competed three events at the Gliders and  Classic Rock meets.

2013-14 Bowers to Missouri

Anna Bowers, L10 at National Elite Gymnastics in Texas, has committed to Missouri.  Anna qualified to JOs in 2012 as a first year L10.  So far this season, she has won the Tiger Classic (1st AA; 1st UB/FX) and the Metroplex Challenge (1st AA; 1st BB/FX).  She also won the beam title at the WOGA classic.

2015-16 Szafranski to LSU

Kaitlyn Szafranski, L10 from Parkettes in Pa., has committed to LSU.  This season she won the Maryland Classic, picking up bars and floor titles as well.   She placed 1st on vault at the COTC and 4th AA at the Parkettes Invitational.

Makayla Stambaugh won bars and floor en route to a 39.6 AA win to lead the Beavers to the win.  Teammate Kelsi Blalock won vault, while Beavers Chelsea Tang and Melanie Jones tied for the beam title.

Kent State won the quad meet, posting a 195.05 for a road win.  For Kent State, Whitnee Johnson won the AA and Marie Case added a title on beam while Rachel Guida picked up another bars title.  Teammates Nicolle Eastman and Katlin Isaacs tied for the floor title with EMU's Khadijah Hudson.  On vault, Kent State's Chelsea Drooger tied with EMU's Anna Willette.

DU broke the 197 barrier at home, setting aside ASU and Illinois State.  They were led by Moriah Martin, who won vault and AA and teammate Nina McGee, who won bars and floor.  Illinois State's Sami King won the beam.

OU upset Michigan at home, using a big advantage on HB to slip past the Wolverines.

Host Ohio State posted its best team score of the season to down UIC.

Utah 196.975 at UGA 197.65

UGA frosh Brittany Rogers hit for a 39.575 AA to lift her squad to a win over the visiting Utes.  She also tied for the vault title with teammate Lindsey Cheek and Utah's Tory Wilson.  Teammate Chelsea Davis won bars while senior Shayla Worley won floor.  Utah's Mary Beth Lofgren won beam.

Minnesota's Lindsay Mable won the floor with a 9.975 to lift the Gophers to the win.  NU's Jessie DeZiel won the vault, bars and tied for the AA title with Arkansas Katherine Grable.  Grable also tied for the beam title with Minnesota's Hanna Nordquist.

PSU posted their highest score since 2011 in winning a quad home meet.  Sharaya led the way for PSU once again, winning the AA with a 39.525 and tying for titles on beam and floor.  Teammate Madison Merriam won vault and tied for the floor title, along with teammate Lexi Carroll.  PSU's Krystal Welsh won the bars.  For UNH, Kayla Gray tied for honors on beam.

2015-16 Shows to LSU

Kami Shows, L10 at SCEGA in California, has accepted a scholarship offer from LSU per SCEGA's website.  Kami qualified to JOs last season.  This season she placed 2nd on bars and beam at the Lady Luck Invite and she competed at the WOGA Classic.
