Arkansas has announced the hiring of Chris Bogantes and Chris Brooks as assistants.  Bogantes has been an assistant at Illinois and Utah State, in addition to stints with SEMO, Ball State, TWU, and LSU.  Brooks has been an assistant with the OU Men and the Nebraska Women's squads.

CMU Promotes MacDonald to Head Coach

CMU has announced that Christine MacDonald has been promoted to Head Coach.  She's been with the program for 25 years, first as an athlete and then as an assistant.

2020-21 Victoria Fitts to Denver

Victoria Fitts from Premier Gymnastics of the Rockies has committed to DU.  She competed to a 6th place finish at her 2019 state meet.  Last season she qualified to regionals.

2019-2020: Pierce to SPU

Alix Pierce, a Canadian L10 from Marian Gymnastics in Saskatoon has committed to join the SPU squad for 2019-2020.  At the 2018 Canadian Championships, she placed 5th on UB and 18th AA.  Most recently, she won the silver on FX at the Canada Winter Games.

SPU has anounced the promotion of Sarah Marshall to Head Coach.  She's been an assistant at SPU since 2010.  As Sarah Sullivan, she competed for SPU and won 8 All-America Awards.  She was also a former Division II Gymnast of the Year.

Former CSUF Hall of Famer and AIAW All-American (BB, FX) Carol "Lefty Johnson" passed away Saturday, according to a tweet by Cal-State Fullerton.  Johnston's pioneering achievements are especially notable as she lacked a complete right arm but that challenge did not prevent her from becoming a top AAer.  She had been battling early onset Altzheimer's.

2019-2020: Harris to EMU

Arileyah Harris of Champions Gymnastics has committed to EMU for 2019-2020.

Elyssa Roberts from Tift Gymnastics has signed with Kentucky.  This season she placed 9th AA at her state meet and 10th AA at regionals.

Nebraska has picked up Robert Ladanyi as an assistant.  The former Utah assistant previuosly was an assistant at DU and Florida.

Trinity Macy from Metroplex has committed to Pitt.  This season she she  placed 4th AA at her state meet and 2nd AA at regionals.

2023-24 Jordyn Lyden to Minnesota

Jordyn Lyden from Flips Gymnastics has committed to UMinn.  This season she finished 1st on bars and beam at her state meet (3rd AA) and 1st on beam (2nd AA) at regionals.

2023-24 Ella Zirbes to Utah

Ella Zirbes from Flips Gymnastics has announced her commitment to Utah.  She competed in the 2018 Hopes Classic, placing 3rd AA.  She placed 1st on floor at the US Classic.  She earned her qualifying score to Jr. Elite earier this season, qualifying her to the US Classic.
