2016-17 Miller to BYU

Macie Miller, L10 at Zenith Elite in Texas, has committed to BYU. She is graduating early to join the team next season.  Last season she won her state beam title and placed 5th all around.  She finished her season at regionals.  She started this season with a 7th place finish at the Texas Prime meet.

2017-18 Baze to Lindenwood

Kendall Baze, L10 from Empire Gymnastics in Texas, has committed to Lindenwood.  Last season she placed 10th AA at her state meet and finished her season at regionals.   Last weekend she competed at the Alamo Classic, placing 6th AA.

2018-19 Murakami to SUU

Shylen Murakami, L10 at Gymcats, has committed to Southern Utah.  Last season she finished 2nd AA at the Nevada state meet and 14th AA at regionals.  She recently competed to a 2nd place AA finish at the Vegas Cup.

OU is the top squad in the Men's CGA National Rankings for the week of January 25th.  Stanford is 2nd and Ohio State is 3rd.

Florida tops the Women's National Rankings for the week of January 25th, as compiled by roadtonationals.com.  OU is 2nd and Michigan is 3rd. 

Stanford broke 440 to down #4 Ohio State.   Stanford was led by Akash Modi, who won FX, PH, PB  and HB.  He won the AA with an impressive 90.55 total.  Ohio State's Alec Yoder won the Rings.  For Cal, Kevin Wolting won the VT.

Men's: Iowa 431.8 at UIC 388.1

Iowa rebounded from a meet on Friday to break 430 once again and score a win over UIC.  Matt Loochtan led Iowa, winning FX and Rings.  Teammate Doug Sullivan won the PH, while Dylan Ellsworth took the VT.  Cyrus Dobre-Mofid won the PB, while Jack Boyle won HB with a big 15.3..  Cory Paterson won the AA with an 80.55.

Stanford won the meet between three Bay Area rivals, led by wins from Elizabeth Price on VT, UB and in the AA (39.55).  Cardinal teammate Ivana Hong took the BB.  Cal's Toni Ann Williams won the FX to prevent the sweep.

William & Mary 190.075 at WVU 195.8

WVU used a strong floor rotation to end the meet with a 195.8 tally and defeat W&M.  Zaarkira Muhammad led the way, winning FX and the AA (39.325).  Frosh teammate Kirah Koshinski added a win on VT, while Alexa Goldberg won the UB.  Carly Galpin led a 1-6 WVU sweep on BB.

Brown won the quad meet, paced by junior Jorden Mitchell's 37.875 AA win.  Teammates Alexandra Chretien and Diana Walters tied for the UB title while Bear Regan Butchness won the BB title.  For Bridgeport, Kimberly Stewart won the VT while Ajiea Hargrave won the FX.

For SUNY Brockport, Bridgette Schaal won the VT and Lily Jagodzinski won the FX to lead the quad to the win.  For Springfield, Marissa DeAngelo won the BB and the AA (38.175) while Briana Kerr took the UB.

EMU's Rachel Slocum won VT (pike front 1/2) with a 9.9 and tied for the FX title (with Ball State's Denasiha Christian) to lead the Eagles to the win.  Teammate Kendall Valentin won the AA witha  39.025.  EMU's Catie Conrad won the UB while teammate Lacey Rubin won BB.

Ohio State 195.025 at Iowa 196.375

Iowa's Mollie Drenth won the BB and the AA (39.3) to lead the Hawkeyes to a big score and win over Ohio State.  Teammate Alie Glover won the FX while Hawkeye Melissa Zurawski won the UB.  Iowa's Rose Piorkowski and Maria Ortiz tied for the VT title with Ohio State's Jamie Stone.

Washington 194.3 at DU 195.65

DU's Nina McGee posted a 9.975 to win FX en route to a 39.5 AA victory.  She also won the VT and UB to lead the Spartans.  UW's Allison Northey prevented a sweep with a win on BB.

Michigan State 195.275 at Minnesota 195.675

Minnesota held off the visiting Spartans of Michigan State, 195.675 to 195.275.  Hanna Nordquist led the Gophers, posting a 9.95 to win the BB.  Rachel Haines added a win on VT.  Lindsay Mable of Minnesota tied for the FX title with Elena Lagoski of MSU.  On UB, Gopher Bailie Holst tied with Lisa Burt of MSU for top honors.  Burt took the AA, winning with a 39.15.

Men's: Air Force 425.95 at Nebraska 434.3

NU broke four school records and had the highest total in team history under the new scoring system to defeat Air Force.  Kyle King led the way for the Huskers, posting a 15.85 to win FX.  Teammate Ethan Lottman scored an equally impressive 15.55 to win the PH.
