Angelo Bronzino will sign with Iowa, according to the Daily Herald newspaper. He trains at Bartlett and was 68th AA at the 2009 Junior Olympic Nationals.

Penn has named former UGA star Corrinne Wright as an assistant at Penn. She has been in athletic administration for ten years, as well as a club coach.

Emily Petersen, a L10 at DeVeau's, has accepted an offer from Alaska, according to her club's website. Peterson placed 8th AA at the 2009 Region V L10 Regionals, where she was also the champion on the BB.

Western Michigan has announced the signing of Christine Bailye, Lauren Bledsoe and Kelsey Turnquist. The commits of Bailye and Turnquist were covered in prior news items.
Bledsoe is a L10 who trains at the Olympia Gymnastics Academy in Michigan. At the 2009 L10 Nationals, she placed 39th AA in the Sr. B division in her first year as a L10. She also finished 3rd AA at the 2008 Level 9 Eastern Nationals.

Dick and Lynda Filbert have announced their retirement from Towson, effective at the end of this season. Dick Filbert has been head coach at Towson since 1983, while his wife Lynda has been an assistant for 20 years. In 1990, the Filbert-led Towson Tigers placed 9th at the NCAA Championships, and Dick Filbert was named co-Head Coach of the Year. He was named Towson Coach of the Year nine times and his teams have been ECAC champions 11 times.

Six gymnasts have committed to compete with Utah next season. Five are letter of intent signees and were covered in prior news items: Lia Del Priore, Alyssa Gale, Mary Beth Lofgren, Corrie Lothrop, and Victoria Shanley. A sixth gymnast, Hailee Hansen, has signed a letter of admittance. Hansen is a L10 who trains at USA Gymnastics World in Utah.

Jamie Schleppenbach will sign with Nebraska for 2010-2011, according to the Star City News. The L10 trains at the Nebraska School of Gymnastics. At the 2009 L10 Nationals, competing in the Senior B division, she placed 21st(t) AA. In 2008, as a Junior D, she placed 11th AA at the Region IV L10 Regionals.

Christine Bailye will sign with Western Michigan this week, according to the Courier-News. The L10 trains at GymNasti. At the 2009 Region V L10 Regionals, she placed 17th AA in the Senior C division.

Kaycee Gassaway will graduate early and sign with BYU, according to the Columbian newspaper. The L10 trains at Naydenov. At the 2009 L10 Nationals, she tied for 14th AA and 10th on UB in the Junior D division.

Brianna Guy, a L10 at Docksiders, has committed to Auburn for 2011-2012, according to her club. At the 2009 L10 Nationals, competing Junior C, she placed 4th AA, 3rd(t) FX, 3rd(t) UB and 4th(t) on VT. In 2008, she was the all-around National Champion in Junior B, as well as the National Champion on the FX. She also picked up a 7th(t) on VT and 6th(t) on UB. She also tied for the FX title in 2007.
