Commonwealth Games: Women's AA

Jacob Wins Honda Cup

Bama's Kim Jacob was named the Collegiate Women Sports Awards Athlete of the Year and awarded the Honda Cup.  This all-sport award has been awarded to only two other gymnasts:  Utah's Missy Marlowe and UGA's Courtney Kupets.  Link:  Bama Release

Canadian Championships: Event Finals

On vault, PSU signee Briannah Tsang won, defeating UF commit Maeghan Chant and Maryland commit Kirsten Peterman.On UB, Ellie Black edged newcomer Isabela Onyshko.  Victoria Moors was third. Canadian Championships: Women's AA

The 2014 Canadian Championships continued with the Women's AA finals today in the Senior High Performance divison.  Ellie Black won her 2nd consecutive AA title with an impressive 58.025, followed by Isabella Onyshko at 56.1.  Black had the top mark on BB while Onyshko had the top mark on UB. …

L10 Junior Olympics NIT Results

Here are the results from the NIT meet held after the JO Nationals.  These athletes finished in the alternate spots at Regionals or won an individual event.  The top finishers are often top performers who otherwise had a bad event at Regionals.
