Illinois 195.1 at Michigan 197.35

Michigan defeated Illinois for the 36th time in a row, breaking the 197 barrier in the process.  Senior Katie Zuralesa won the AA with a 39.575.  She also won bars and tied for the beam title with teammate Shelby Gies.  Teammate Joanna Sampson placed 2nd AA and won the vault and floor.

MSU 192.1 at NU 196.7

Emily Wong posted a big 39.65 in the AA to lead NU to the win.  She also took event titles on vault, bars, and beam.  Only frosh teammate Hollie Blanske's win on floor prevented the sweep.

BGSU 192.525 at NIU 192.775

NIU came from behind in the latter half of the meet to overtake BGSU.  Marisa Liptak led a 1-2-3 NIU finish on the FX to close the event.  Teammate Natasha Jufko tied for the beam title with BGSU's Jamilah Ali.  Falcon Megan Harrington won vault while teammate Amanda Lievendag won the bars.

Minnesota held off Kent State to win at PSU, as the hosts struggled on floor.   The Gophers were led by frosh Lindsay Mable, who won the AA with a 39.325.  She also tied for the floor title with teammate Kylie Schermann.  Teammate Kayla Slechta took the vault title.  For Kent State, Rachel Guida won bars.  Penn State's Kassidy Stauder and Sharaya Musser tied for the beam title.

Maryland just missed the 196 barrier, but it was enough to overcome host Pitt.  Kathy Tang led Maryland, winning the AA with a 39.375, including a win on bars.   Teammate Ally Krikorian tied for two event titles:  on vault with teammate Katy Dodds and on floor with Pitt's Alyssa Adrian.  Teammate Stephanie Giameo won the beam with a 9.95.

Aubree Cristello led Arizona to the win, taking the AA with a 39.15 and capturing titles on vault and beam.  Teammate Kristin Klarenbach won FX.  For BYU, Raquel Willman won bars.

Men's: Army 408.1 at Air Force 414.2

Senior Tory Btrown won vault with a school record-tying score, while teammates Nick Gaudlip and Josh Ramos won FX and PB, respectively as Air Force defeated Army.

Iowa 194.2 at Ohio State 194.925

The Buckeyes defended home turn, turning away the Hawkeyes.  Ohio State's Melanie Shaffer won the AA and bars, while teammate Sarah Miller won the beam, floor and tied for first on vault.

Springfield 177.775 at Brockport 185.375

Soph Olivia Sylvestro won floor, classmate Stephanie Schuler won bars, soph Amanda Carney won vault and frosh Amanda Rota won beam to help Brockport to a win.

Sasha Tsikhanovich of Bridgeport won floor and teammate Monica Mesalles added a 9.95 to win vault.  For Rutgers, Claudia Salinas won beam and Jenna Williams won bars.  Penn's Dana Bonincontri won the AA with a 39.125.

2013-14 Smith no longer committed to Minnesota

We are informed that Mackenzie Smith is no longer committed to Minnesota. 

Senior Lauren Rogers led the Huskies, winning the AA and a share of the vault title.  Teammates Jackie McCartin and Paige Bixler won beam and floor, respectively.  Cal's Alicia Asturias and Dallas Crawford earned a share of the vault title.  Golden Bear Madisyn O'Brien and UC Davis' Michelle Ho shared the bars title.

Air Force 190.1 at SPU 189.425

Linnaea Hance won the UB with a 9.775 to lead Air Force to a win over host SPU.  Shannon Escarra powered SPU, winning the vault, beam, floor and AA (38.6).

ASU edged host Sac State to win the tri-meet.  Natasha Sundby won the vault and tied Sac State's Cassie Benning on floor to lead the Sun Devils.  Teammate Kohoku Palaofx won the bars while teammates Morgan Steigerwalt and frosh Risa Perez tied for the beam title with Sac State's Kalliah McCartney.  McCartney won the AA with a 39.2.

USU 191.25 at Boise State 194.875

Brittany Potvin-Green won three events to lead Boise State to a record high opening meet score in a win over USU.  She won the AA, vault and FX.  Teammate Erin Wipperman added a win on UB.  For USU, JoAnna Cuba won the beam.
