Iowa 196.425 at Iowa State 196.25

A record crowd saw Iowa upset cross-state rival and host Iowa State.  Iowa's Clair Kaji, Alexandra Greenwald, Allyson Steffensmeier and ISU's Natalia Ros Vaquer tied for the UB title. GymHawk Mackenze Vance and ISU's Sydney Converse tied for 1st on BB.  For ISU, Andrea Maldonado won FX and Sophia Steinmeyer and Makayla Maxwell tied for 1st on VT.

Illinois State 191.3 at NIU 195.725

For NIU, Morgan Hooper won UB and Amanda Bartemio won the FX. Teammates Gabby Welch and Cinny Lamberti tied for the VT title. For Illinois St, Gabrielle Cooke won BB and Angelica Labat took the AA.

Illinois 196.25 at Kentucky 196.45

UK's Mollie Korth won UB and the AA with a 39.425. Teammate Raena Worley won the FX while Wildcats Cally Nixon and Arianna Patterson tied for the VT title. Illini Mia Takekawa won BB with a 9.975.

UMD got wins from Aleka Tsiknias on UB and Emma Silberman and Collea Burgess on FX (tied). Towson's Jenna Weitz and Emerson Hurst tied for 1st on BB. For GWU, Deja Chambliss won the BB and took the AA with a 39.4.

RU's Hannah Joyner won the AA with a 39.225 and tied for the UB title with SCSU's Bianca Leon. Rutgers also got wins from Kaitlyn Hall on VT, Erin McLachlan on BB and Bell Huang on FX.

Penn's Natalie Yang tied for the BB title with West Chester's Yoland Nodarse. For BGSU, Jovannah East won VT and FX en route to a 39.225 AA win. Temple's Madison Brooks and Ariana Castrence tied for the UB title.

Lindenwood's Kyndall Baze won VT and tied for 1st on FX with teammate Ryan Henry. Henry won the AA with a 39.175. Lion Courtney Mitchell won UB and tied for the BB title with teammate Mackenzy Chavez and SEMO's Anna Kaziska.

SUU 195.3 at Boise State 196.925

Isabella Amado of Boise St tied for the BB title with SUU's Hannah Nipp and tied for the FX title with SUU's Karley McClain. Bronco Emily Muhlenhaupt won UB. On VT, Boise State's Samantha Smith and Tatum Bruden tied with SUU's Stephanie Tervort.  Boise State's Hope Masiado won the AA with a 39.25.

Long Island University adds Gymnastics

LIU has announced the addition of DI gymnastics to its slate of athletic teams.  The team will be part of the EAGL conference.

2020-21 Sarina Ross to BGSU

Sarina Ross from Paramount Elite has committed to Bowling Green.  She is a two time regional qualifier.  She recently won the Winner's Cup and she has placed in the top five AA at her 2020 meets.

2021-22 Ella Chemotti to EMU

Ella Chemotti from Euro Stars Gymnastics has committed to EMU.  She is a two time JO qualifier.  This season she has earned wins at the Nashville Nights, Tulip City Invitational and Elevate the State.

2020-21 Anna Grace McCullough to EMU

Anna Grace McCullough from JamJev has committed to EMU.  She was a 2019 JO qualifier.  This season she won her session of the Altanta Crown Invitational and she has finished in the top five at all of her 2020 meets.

2021-22 Maddie Kinsey to Air Force

Maddie Kinsey from Perfect Balance Gymnastics has committed to USAF.  She was a 2019 regionals qualifier in her first year at Level 10.  She has racked up several top 10 finishes this season.

Minnesota has announced the addition of Erin Fortman, Emily Koch, Mya Hooten and Katie Horak to next season's freshman class.  The early commitments of Fortman, Koch and Hooten were previously covered here.  Katie Horak from Revolution Gymnastics moved to Level 10 in the 2019 season. Her 5th place regionals finish earned her a spot at JOs where she finished 45th.  This season she has placed 1st AA at the Legacy Luau and the 2020 Classic Spectacular.

ASU 196.575 at Stanford 195.975

ASU's Cairo Leonard Baker won UB and teammates Gracie Reeves and Hannah Scharf tied for first on VT with Stanford's Kyla Bryant. Bryant won FX and the AA at 39.5. Terammate Chloe Widner won BB.
