Simone BIles won her sixth US All Around title on Sunday, easly outdistancing the field.  She also won VT, BB and FX.  AA runnerup and Auburn commit Sunisa Lee won the BB. 

OU has announced the promotion of Lou Ball and Tom Haley to Associate Head Coach.  They've been working as assistants since 2007 for Head Coach KJ Kindler.

US Championships: Mikulak Wins Sixth Title

Former NCAA champ and Michigan star Sam Mikuak won his sixth US title, tying Makoto Sakamoto for the number of wins.  Former NCAA champ Yul Moldauer was 2nd, with another NCAA champ, Akash Modi (former Stanford), in 3rd.  Minnesota's Shane Wiskus was the top current collegian in 4th.  Mikulak dominated, winning FX PH, PB and HB.  Former Illinois standout Alex Diab won the Rings and Wiskus won the VT title. 

Simone Biles leads the field after day 1 at the US Gymnastics Championships.  She unveiled a new triple-twisting double back on FX, the first in competition by a woman.   She was a little short on the landing and was pitched forward to her hands.  On her other world-first, a double twisting double back after two bhs, she was near-perfect, with just a hop on landing.

OU (M) Hire Goncharov as an Assistant

OU's men's squad has announced that Valeriy Goncharov has joined the staff as an assistant.  He's a 2004 Gold Medalist (PB) and a native of the Ukraine.  He's been coaching at the Texas Academy for the last five years.

Boise State co-Head Coach Neil Resnick will retire after 12 seasons.  Current co-Head Coach Tina Bird will take over as Head Coach for the upcoming season.  Patti Resnick will continue to serve as an assistant coach.

Brown welcomes six frosh for 2019-2020:  Abby Contello, Lauren Lazaro, Jasmine Lee, Lauren McKeown, Ella Poley and Carolanne Van Zandt.  The commits of Lazaro, Lee and McKeown were covered previously.

W&M Hires Hinton as Head Coach

W&M has promoted Kelsey HInton to Head Coach.  She's been serving as an assistant coach for the last four seasons.  She was a standout at NC State and a coach at Kidsport prior to coming to W&M.

Tasha Brozowski from Raleigh Gymnastics has committed to Maryland.  She placed 1st on bars at her regional meet last season and qualified to JOs, finishing 25th AA.
