Kaila Kilwein, L10 from Roach Gymnastics in Washington, will join three other incoming freshmen at Sacramento State next season. She placed 2nd AA (1st BB) in her session at the Sand Dollar meet earlier this season. She finished 6th AA at her state meet, 4th AA at regionals and 21st AA at JOs.
Press ReleaseHayley Bodenheimer, L10 at Salem Gymnastics in N.C., has committed to Pitt for the 2011-12 season. Bodenheimer, who placed 7th AA at the 2009 JOs, had numerous top 5 finishes at her meets this year, including a 1st place finish (1st BB/FX) at the Daytona Beach Invite. She placed 3rd AA at regionals (1st V) and 10th AA at th 2010 JOs.
Amiah Mims of Wright's Gymnastics Academy in Indiana has committed to Kent State for the 2011-12 season. Among Mims' strong competitive finishes this season, she placed 1st AA (1st V) at the For Love or Money meet, 1st AA (1st V/BB) at her state meet, 7th AA at regionals and 10th AA at JOs.
Kenzie Hedges has committed to Kentucky for the 2011-12 season. Hedges trains at United Elite Gymnastics in Texas. She competed in an elite qualifier in January, and competed in the Elite sessions of the Metroplex Challenge (2 events) and Buckeye Classic (3 events).
San Jose State swept the individual event titles but Cal State Fullerton used a balanced team effort, with a big margin on the BB, to win. SJSU's Lily Swann won the VT, while Katie Merritt won the UB. Shanice Howard won the BB, while Tiffany Louie captured the FX.

Kassandra Lopez, L10 from Gym World East in Tucson, Arizona, has committed to Utah for the 2011-2012 season. In her first season at L10, she won the Arizona state meet, Jr. D and placed 18th AA (7th on beam) at the 2009 JO Nationals, Jr. C.
