Oregon State delivered Head Coach Tanya Chaplin her 200th regular season win with a 195.925 win over Ohio State. Olivia Vivian excelled again for the Beavers on UB, posting a 9.975. Leslie Mak won the BB with a 9.925 en route to a 39.1 AA win. Oregon St frosh Brittany Harris won the VT while teammate Makayla Stambaugh won the FX.

Preseason No. 1 Stanford fell to a motivated Cal squad in the season opener for both squads. Cal's Glen Ishino posted a big 90.3 AA win, including a huge 15.9 tally on the high bar. He also won PB and PH. Teammate Steve Lacombe won VT. Josh Dixon won FX and Tim Gentry won Rings to lead Stanford.

Kent State captured the Lady Luck Invitational in Las Vegas, posting a big 195.475. Kent State was led by Christina Lenny, who won titles on VT and BB en route to a 39.325 AA win. Frosh Marie Case added a win on FX while teammate Lindsay Runyan led a 1-6 sweep on the UB.

Illinois State captured a road win at SPU, led by Tori Sarantakis' win on VT and Erica Schick's win on UB. SPU's Anissa Madrid won BB and the AA. Teammate Sherah Veron won the FX.

San Jose State emerged victorious in a battle of Northern Californian rivals. Thomasina Wallace won the UB with the meet's highest mark. Teammate Lily Swann won the VT while Spartan Katie Valleau tied with UC Davis' Michelle Ho on FX. Aggie Marcy Miller won BB. Cal posted its highest score in two seasons, led by Madisyn O'Brien's AA win.

BYU won in Logan tonight, posting a 193.075 to defeat Arizona and USU. Jennifer Lezeu led BYU with a win on the FX. Arizona's Deanna Graham won the AA with a 38.575, finishing in a tie for 1st on VT with teammate Mykle Douglas and USU's Lyndsie Boone. Arizona's Miranda Russell tied with USU's Nicole Simoneau for the UB title. On BB, USU frosh Cammi Muhr captured the title.

SUU upset UCLA 194.75 to 194.425, in front of a home crowd of over 5000. SUU's Shannon Coughlin won FX to seal the victory. UCLA's Oliva Courtney won the VT, BB and AA with a 39.3. Teammate Aisha Gerber won the UB. Said SUU Head Coach Scott Bauman, "This was an incredible meet tonight".

PSU posted a 347 to win its 13th consecutive West Point Open title. Temple was 2nd at 328.3, Army 3rd at 320, Navy 4th at 319.6, and Springfield 5th at 318.9. PSU's Parker Raque led Penn State with a win on FX and in the AA. Teammates Preston Gall (PH), Miguel Pineda (Rings) ,Francisco Vazquez (VT), Mackenzie Dow (PB), and Matt Albrecht (HB) placed 1st in the other events. Individual event finals will be held on Saturday.
