Iowa State has added a signee to the group announced Wednesday. Sara Townsend, L10 of Legacy Elite Gymnastics in Illinois, will join Anna Glasenapp, Erin Lewallen, Sammie Pearsall and Kristen DeCosta for the 2012-13 season. Last season she finished 3rd AA at her state meet, 6th AA at regionals and 27th AA at JOs.
Georgia has announced the signing of three gymnastics. In addition to the previously disclosed Brandie Jay, UGA signed on two Canadians, Brittany Rogers and Anysia Unick. In this age of early recruiting, the two Canadians committed relatively late in the recruiting process.
Rogers is a former World Championship finalist on the vault who missed some time with an injury. This past weekend she won a silver medal on VT in a World Cup event in Croatia. At the 2011 Canadian Championships, she placed 4th AA. Link: Rogers on VT at Ghent World Cup (Video)
Unick is a former Canadian Jr. champion who placed 14th AA in the High Performance (elite ) division at the 2011 Canadian Championships. She trains at Stampede City in Alberta. Link: Unick at the WOGA Classic UB Video

Lauren Beers and Carley Sims signed their NLIs and will join Alabama's team next year.
Erin Odom, L10 at Texas East Gymnastics, has signed with Towson according to her local paper. Last season she finished 8th AA at her state meet, 5th AA at regionals and 30th AA at JOs.
Parkettes Gymnastics has announced that Alex Cope will be joining ASU's team next year. Last season she placed 3rd AA (1st FX) at her state meet, 4th AA at regionals and 30th AA at JOs.
Jodi Andrews, L10 at Geddert's in Michigan, will walk on at MSU according to her local paper. Last season she competed only bars at her state meet, finished 2nd on that event. She finished 25th AA at regionals.
Oregon State has received NLIs from Erika Aufiero, Sarah Marquez, Nicole Turner and Jaime Wright. We posted commitments from Aufiero, Turner and Wright previously.
Sarah Marquez is an L10 from Airborne Gymnastics in California. Last season she won her NorCal meet and placed 14th AA at regionals.
