Michigan 196.6 at UGA 195.6

Michigan knocked off UGA at home, upsetting the Gym Dogs with a solid performance, led by their Sophomore class.  Michigan's Nicole Artz won the AA, posting a 39.45.  She won the FX with a 9.9 featuring a high pike full-in and a clean and high double pike dismount.  She also tied on the BB with classmate Talia Chiarelli.  Chiarelli dismounted with a stuck double back.  Frosh Brianna Brown made an impressive debut, taking 2nd AA.

UGA literally ran out of steam on the floor, stumbling several times and counting a fall.  They started strongly, with Brandie Jay winning vault and with Kiera Brown and Chelsea Davis tying for the UB title.  UGA only managed to only beat Michigan on UB, held back by a relative lack of depth and small mistakes that added up, before the two falls on FX took them out of the running (on a double layout and a double tuck).
