Georgia has signed JaFree Scott and transfer Josie Angeny of Kentucky for 2022-2023. Scott originally committed to Florida but did not sign in the fall. Scott is a senior international elite gymnast from GAGE and a 2018 US National Team member. Although she has been slowed by injury, last season she placed 13th AA at the American Classic.
Angeny is a three-time All SEC honoree who will start graduate studies at UGA. A BB standout and a regular for the Wildcats on UB, she has also competed in the AA.

UCLA has hired Janelle McDonald as their new Head Coach. She has been an assistant at Cal for the last four seasons. Prior to that she coached athletes through all levels up to elite during stints at WOGA, Legacy Elite and Desert Lights.

Reganne Cheang, Metroplex, placed 1st on fx and 3rd AA at her state meet. She placed 1st on fx and 6th AA at regionals.

Morgan Engel, Emerge Academy, placed 5th AA at her state meet, but competed only one event at regionals.

Corey Foster, A2 Gym and Cheer, placed 7th AA at regionals.
Minhty Ha, Perfection Gymnastics, placed 10th AA at her state meet and 6th AA at regionals.
Avery Compson, Buckeye Gymnastics, placed 17th AA at her '22 state meet and 10th AA at regionals.
Brantley Lucas, Georgia Elite Gymnastics, placed 8th AA at nationals last season. She recently placed 2nd AA at her regional meet.
DU assistant Dave Kuzara has announced his retirement. He has had more than 30 years of experience coaching women's gymnastics as either a Head Coach (UMass, WMU) or assistant (Pitt, Michigan, Arkansas, WVU).
Maisyn Rader, Connecticut Gymnastics Academy, won her '22 state meet and placed 3rd AA (1st UB) at regionals.
Isabella Vater, Brown's - LV, placed 4th AA (and 4th on every event) at her state meet.
Elliot Bringhurst, Brown's - LV, recently placed 13th AA at regionals.
Megan Sapp, Denton Gymnastics, placed 7th AA at her state meet, but competed only two events at regionals.
NCAA Champion Trinity Thomas of Florida won the Honda Award for Gymnastics, honoring the top women's gymnast in the NCAA this season. She won the UB, FX and AA titles at the 2022 National Championships and won every single AA title in every session in the post-season. She posted a total of 12 10s during the season, the 2nd most ever and was the first to win five First-Team All American awards in a single championship.
