Kyana George, L10 from Metroplex in Texas, has committed to Cal. Last season she placed 3rd AA at her state meet, 1st on vault and floor at regionals and 3rd AA at JOs.
Maleah Pearson, L10 from Twin City Twisters in Minnesota, has committed to Cal. Last season she finished 2nd AA at regionals and 19th AA at JOs.
WVU has added three gymnasts for 2014-2015: Brittney Harris, Audrey Tolbert and Jordan Gillette. Harris is a fifth year senior who competed for Pitt but has a season of eligibility remaining. Tolbert transfers to WVU from Ohio State. Gillette is a frosh, whose commitment was covered at the site last December.

John Orozco took the lead after Day 1 at the P&G (US) Championahips. Former OU star Jake Dalton is close behind in 2nd, with Danell Leyva in 3rd. NCAA champ and ex Michigan standout (and current undergraduate assistant) Sam Mikulak had a few problems to stand in fourth. Former Sooner Alex Naddour is fifth. Former Ohio State standout Brandon Wynn posted the top ring score to place 7th, while current Buckeye Sean Melton was 8th. Former Illini Paul Ruggeri was 9th while Illinois' CJ Maestas and Stanford's Akash Modi are tied for 10th. Under the new rules that place a greater emphasis on specialists, the much deeper men's field has a number of gymnasts pursuing spots on the National and World Championship teams.
In the Junior Men's 17-18 division, Illinois frosh Bobby Baker is in first, ahead of OU frosh Hunter Justus in 2nd. Kiwan Watts is third. In the Junior Men's 15-16 division, Michigan frosh Marty Strech is in first.

World Champion and UCLA commit Simone Biles took a bit early lead after Day 1 of the P&G (US) Championships. OU commit Maggie Nichols was 2nd and Florida commit Alyssa Baumann was third. Kyla Ross was fourth while Utah commit Makayla Skinner was fifth.
Only 8 gymnastics competed AA and 13 gymnasts competed overall.

Alma Kuc from All Olympia in California has committed to Cal. Alma qualified to JOs in 2012 and to the NIT in 2013. She competed in the European Championships in 2014 as well as the Gymnastics Legends International meet.
Ashley Szafranski, L10 at Parkettes in Pa., has committed to ASU. A consistently strong bars worker, Ashley placed 1st on bars at her 2014 regional meet and she finished 16th AA at JOs.
Hannah Swoish, L10 at Gymnastix in Ga., has committed to TWU. Last season she placed 1st on bars and beam at her state meet and qualified to regionals.
Sophia Steinmeyer, L10 at Berks in Pa, has committed to Iowa State. She placed 5th AA at her 2014 state meet and qualified to L10 regionals for the third consecutive year.
WMU has announced that three more gymnasts will join the squad for 2014-2015: Courtney Bergstrom, Kendall Carlson and Kira Hoy.
Berstrom is a L10 from JAG in California. She qualified to Regionals in 2013, placing 25th.
Carlson is a L9 from Gym America. At the 2014 Level 9 Eastern Nationals, she finished 2nd AA and 3rd on UB.
Hoy is a L10 from Nittany Gymnastics. She qualified to the 2014 JO NIT meet, placing 13th AA. She was 3rd AA at the 2014 L10 Pennsylvannia state meet.

Hunter Dula, L10 at Southeastern in N.C., plans to graduate a year early and compete for Utah in the 2018-19 season. Hunter competed at Level 9 last season, placing 2nd AA and 1st on FX at her state meet and winning bars at her 2014 regional meet.
Sabriyya Rouse, L10 at Team Attraction in North Carolina, has committed to Maryland. She placed 5th AA at her state meet, 7th AA at regionals and 22nd AA at JOs.
Carley Galpin, L10 from Frederick Gymnastics in Maryland, has committed to West Virginia. Last season she placed 2nd AA at her state meet and she qualified through regionals to the NIT where she finished 11th AA.
Kelley Hebert, L10 at Edge Gymnastics in California, has committed to Washington. Last season, as a first year L10, Kelley placed 7th AA at the NorCal state meet and qualified to regionals.
