Ohio State posted its highest opening meet tally in history, as they defeated the Gophers. Sarah Miller led the way, winning the VT and tying for the BB title with teammate Nicole Krauter and Minnesota's Shannon Golich. Buckeye Casey Williamson tied for the UB title with Gophers Janell Campbell and frosh Cierra Tomson. Dusti Russell led the way for Minnesota, winning the AA with a 38.925 and the FX.

Brie Olson lead the Sooners to the opening meet victory, winning the UB and tying for the title on VT and FX. She tied on VT with teammate Sara Stone and on FX with teammate Kayla Nowak. OU's Megan Ferguson won the BB. For UK, Audrey Harrison won the AA with a 38.375.

Rutger's Luisa Leal won the AA (39.0), VT, UB and FX, but it wasn't enough as UNH used a team effort to defeat the host Scarlet Knights. For UNH, Jannelle Minichiello and Danielle Reibold won the BB.

ASU held off UC Davis to score the home victory. ASU's Samantha Seaman won VT while teammate Kohoku Palafox won the UB and Beate Jones won FX to pace the Sun Devils. The Aggies Katie Yamamura won the BB and the AA with a 38.725.

Cal edged host Sac State 190.375 to 189.725, led by Madisyn O'Briens 38.625 AA win. She also won vault and tied for the UB title with the Hornets Nicole Meiller. Sac State frosh Kalliah McCartney won the BB while teammate Kailey Hansen won the FX.

The Arkansas Gym'Backs won the Cancun Classic, defeating Arizona, Auburn, Iowa and LSU. Arkansas posted a big 196.45 to win the competition, followed by Arizona's 195.15. AU posted a 194.775, Iowa a 193.875 and LSU a 192.5. Full results are not available.

Lead by standout performances from Kat Ding and Noel Couch, UGA powered to a 196.525 opening tally. Ding won VT with a 9.925 and UB with a 9.975. Couch added a win on FX and in the AA (39.275). Shayla Worley won the BB for the GymDogs.

Frosh superstar Kytra Hunter powered the Gators to the win, taking the AA with a 39.25 in her debut. She also claimed the FX title with a high double layout. Teammate Alaina Johnson won the UB, while Gators Ashanee Dickerson and Marissa King tied NCSU's Jess Panza for the BB title. Diahanna Ham of the Wolfpack won VT.

The Huskies overcame a rough third rotation with a meet-high event tally on BB. Senior Ruby Engreitz won the AA and UB. Frosh teammate McKenzie Fechter won FX while Husky Paige Bixler won BB. UW's Amanda Cline tied for the VT title with MSU's Taira Neal.

WMU's Taylor Zondervan scored a meet-high 9.775 to win UB and lead the Broncos to victory. She had plenty of help, as teammates Lauren Bledsoe and frosh Shelby Pflug won VT. Bronco Caroline O'Brien won BB, Stacy Kramer won FX while Cepeda Carter completed the sweep with an AA win.

Erin Buchanan, L10 at Capital Gymnastics in Virginia, has committed to Illinois. Last season she finished 4th AA at her state meet, 5th AA at regionals, and 6th AA at nationals.
Tayllor Allen, L10 at Colorado Aerials, has committed to join Cornell's team next season. Last season she finished 3rd AA at the Colorado state meet and 21st AA at regionals.

Signee Rachel Spicer was able to graduate early and is joining a loaded UF squad this week. She'll be joined by Jamie Shisler and Brittany Arlington.
Shisler is a L10 from Coast Elite who placed 28th AA at the 2011 L10 JO Nationals. She also finished 16th at Regionals in 2010. Link: Video
Arlington is a L10 from Chelle Stack's Gymnastics in Florida. In 2011, she placed 19th AA at the Region VIII L10 Regionals. As a L9 in 2010, she was 12th AA at the Level 9 Eastern Nationals.
