NCAA Finals (W): Semifinal 1 - UCLA, LSU Advance

UCLA edged LSU 197.675 to 197.5125 to win the first semi-final at the NCAA Championships.  Both teams advance to Saturday's "Four on the Floor" final.  Michigan was not far behind in 3rd at 1972 while Utah completed the field at 196.725. 

UCLA's Kyla Ross edged LSU's Sarah Finnegan for the lead in the AA, 39.6625 to 39.65.  Tiger Kennedi Edney was 3rd at 39.6, while Utah's MyKayla Skinner was fourth at 39.55.

Ross and Edney tied for the VT lead at 9.95.  Skinner was 3rd and teammate MaKenna Merrell-Giles was 4th.

Ross is the leader on the FX with a 9.95.  Skinner was tied for 2nd with UCLA's Gracie Kramer.  In fourth, Bruin Katelyn Ohashi tied with Michigan's Olivia Karas and LSU's Makenna Kelley. 

Finnegan posted the top mark on UB, a 9.95..  Edney was 2nd and Skinner was 3rd.  Five gymnasts tied at 9.925:  UCLA's Nia Dennis, Margzetta Frazier and Madison Kocian, LSU's Ruby Harrold and Karas.

Michigan's Natalie Wojcik posted the top mark on BB, a 9.95.  She was followed by Finnegan in 2nd, Ohashi in 3rd and Ross in 4th.
