Men's: Stanford Upsets OU to Win 2019 Men's Team Title

Battling through the last event trailing the heavaily favored OU, Stanford rocked their Rings sets to pull out the win, 415.222 to 414.556.  OU was the four time defending champions but suffered too many more serious mistakes.  Nebraska was third at 407.489 and Michigan 4th at 406.354.  Host Illinois was close behind with a 405.358 for fifth, while PSU rounded out the field with a 399.725.

Super frosh Brody Malone led the way for the Cardinal, winning FX, HB and the AA title with an 85.832.  Ohio State's Alec Yoder won the PH, while Illini Alex Diab took the Rings.  Michigan's Anthony McCallum won the VT title with a big 15.266, while Minnesota's Shane Wiskus, the AA runnerup, won PB.

With three key senior AAers, most were expecting the Sooners to roll their fifth consecutive title.  Instead, Stanford grabbed a win for the first time since 2011.  It is their sixth title.
