SEMO wins MICs

Southeast Missouri won the MIC Championship, posting a 193.755 to defeat TSU (192.525), UIC (192.075), Illinois State (191.9) and Centenary (189.85).  SEMO was led by Brianna Gaddie and Christina Sundgren.  Gaddie won the VT and FX while Sundgren won the FX and AA.  Teammate Taylor Westrick won the BB.

Cornell Wins ECAC

Cornell edged Penn to win the ECAC Championships.  Just 0.675 points separated 1st and fourth.  For Cornell, McKenna Archer and Emily Santoro won the VT title.  Teammate Lexi Schupp and Maddie Pearsall tied for the UB title.  Another Cornell athlete, Melanie Standridge, won the BB.   For the runnerups, Dana Bonincontri of Penn won the AA.  Jasmine Johnson and Corrine Williams of Temple tied for the FX title.

UNC Wins EAGL Championships

UNC won the EAGL Championships with a 195.3, edging runner-up UNH's 195.175.  Abigail Adams won the AA to lead Maryland.  SHe also added a title on BB.  Teammate Ally Krikorian won the VT.  WVU's Amy Bieski won the UB while Pitt's Mallory Brewer won the FX.

CMU Win MAC Championships

CMU won the MAC title for the 12th time, and 2nd year in a row.  Kent State finished 2nd.   CMU was led by AA Champ Kristin Teubner, who also captured the BB title and tied for the FX title with teammate Cheryl Conlin and Ball State's Nicole Allen.  CMU's Brittany Petzold won the UB title.  Kent State's Christina Lenny tied with Allen for the VT title.

Michigan Wins Big 10 Championship

Michigan won the 2011 Big 10 Championship, posting a 196.6 to lead the field.  PSU was 2nd with a 196.375.  Michigan was led by Jordan Sexton and Kylee Botterman, who won BB and FX, respectively.  PSU's Sharaya Musser won the AA and tied for 1st on VT with Illinois' Amber See.  Teammate Natalie Ettl won the UB.

NU Wins Big 12 Championships

NU won the Big 12 Championship with a 196.775, defeating OU (196.5), Iowa State (195.15) and Missouri (194.975).  Husker Erin Davis won the VT and tied for the FX title with OU's Kayla Nowak.  Teammate Maria Scaffidi won the UB.  OU's Megan Ferguson and Natasha Kelley tied for the BB title.  Missouri's Mary Burke won the AA.

Utah 196.7 at BYU 195.8

Utah completed the regular season with a win over BYU, after having finished the season without counting a fall.  Utah was led by Stephanie McAllister, who won the AA and by Nansy Damianova, who won FX and tied for the VT title with teammate Lia Del Priore.  Gael Mackie won the UB.

DU 194.225 at Air Force 193.3

DU defeated in-state rival and host Air Force, 194.225 to 193.3.  DU's Brianna Springer won the AA with a 38.825.  Springer also won the UB and FX.  Teammate Taylor Sanford won the BB, while frosh Moriah Martin won the VT.

Stanford holds onto the top spot in the Troester.com GymInfo Men's National Ranking for the week of March 14th.  OU's Steve Legendre remains the leader in the AA and on the FX.  Illinois' Daniel Ribeiro is the top PH worker, while Ohio State's Brandon Wynn is the top ring man.  OU's Jake Dalton holds the top spot on VT.  Michigan's Syque Caeser joins Stanford's Ryan Lieberman atop the PB standings, while Illinois' Paul Ruggeri still holds the top spot on HB (but is out for the year).  Stanford's Alex Buscaglia holds the #2 spot on HB.

We head into the final week of competition, and the Troester.com GymInfo National rankings are heating up as teams battle for a prime spot in the postseason.

Florida once again leads the Top 25 ranking, with Bama in 2nd.  Stanford remains in third, as OU and Oregon State close the gap.  Florida continues to lead the team rankings on BB and FX, but are now tied for the top spot on VT with Bama.  Oregon State still leads the UB rankings.
